How IPAF licences work

When you complete an IPAF training course, you will be issued a PAL card. Since 2021, these have been issued digitally and can be viewed using ePAL, IPAF’s free mobile phone app. This means that your card is right there at your fingertips. For some people, though, having a hard copy remains important which is why we offer the option to purchase one.

If you have completed an IPAF course with Harrington Safety and would like a hard copy of your PAL card, you can order that through us. As the accredited IPAF training centre where you completed your training, we are here to make ordering a copy of your card as easy as possible. Just provide us with your details, and we will take it from there.

As long as your IPAF qualification is still valid (5 years from the day you completed your course), we will be able to supply you with a copy of your PAL card. Can anyone order a hard copy IPAF licence from Harrington Safety?

If you were trained by Harrington Safety and your licence is still valid (5 years from training date), you can order with us. If you were trained by another training provider, you will need to contact them to order your hard copy licence. Only the centre that you were trained with can order this for you.

Do you need a hard copy of your IPAF licence?

You don’t need a hard copy of your IPAF licence, otherwise known as a PAL card. All PAL cards can be accessed through IPAF’s ePAL app. Many of our customers still request a hard copy, though, and we are happy to help.

What are the benefits of having a hard copy?

For many people, a hard copy of their licence is something that they have become used to over the years. Others appreciate the peace of mind of having a physical copy if they are unable to access the ePAL app. There is no right or wrong reason; just get in touch with us today.

How long will it take to receive my PAL card?

Ordering your hard copy IPAF licence through us is a really quick and easy process. Once we have all of the information we need, we will be able to begin the process of generating your card with IPAF. This will be sent to you in the post, or if selected you can collect from our Uxbridge centre once we have received it from IPAF.
